Modern World-System Analysis and Foreign Trade

Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the concept of foreign trade in terms of the Modern World-System analysis developed by Immanuel Wallerstein in the 1970s. The study consists of three parts. The first part includes main concepts in order to explain the terminology used in the Modern World-System analysis. In the second part, the transformation stages of the world-system will be investigated while obeying the time limitation of Wallerstein and foreign trade concept in those time stages will be investigated.The last part is the conclusion and evaluation.

Özet
Bu almann amac, Immanuel Wallerstein tarafndan 1970lerde gelitirilen Modern Dnya-Sistemi analizi balamnda d ticaret kavramn irdelemektir. alma blmden olumaktadr. Birinci blm, Modern DnyaSistemi analizinde kullanlan kavramlarn tantlmasdr. kinci blm, Wallersteinn zamansal snflamasna uyularak dnya-sisteminin dnm evreleri drt dnem halinde ele alnm ve bu zaman kesitlerinde d ticaret kavram incelenmesidir. Son blm sonu ve deerlendirmedir.
