Abstract
This study analyses the Turkish inflation dynamics (2000:01-2013:04) within the New Keynesian Phillips Curve (NKPC) framework. Inflation equations are estimated by GMM methodology against unemployment (and employment) explanatory variables. Estimation results reveal inflation is responsive to the detrended level of unemployment of first and second lag. Although we detect presence of unemployment PC, coefficients of the function are not prominent. Positively sloped PC is also detected for employment of first lag. Further there is also rate of change PC with unemployment revealing hysteresis behavior, whereas the pattern is hardly observed for employment during the low and stable inflation period of post 2004.

ENFLASYON VE İŞGÜCÜ PİYASALARI: TÜRKİYE EKONOMİSİ (2000-2013)

Ozet
Bu çalışmada Yeni Keynesyen Phillips Eğrisi çerçevesinde (2000:01-2013:04) için Türkiye enflasyon dinamikleri incelenmektedir. GMM yöntemi ile işsizlik (ve istihdam oranı) değişkenleri ile tahmin edilen enflasyon denklemi sonuçları enflasyonun birinci ve ikinci gecikmeli trendden arındırılmış işsizlik değişkenine duyarlı olduğuna işaret etmektedir. Çalışmada işsizlik oranı ile enflasyon arasında Phillips eğrisi ilişkisi bulunduğu tespit edilmekle birlikte, denklemin katsayıları mutlak değer olarak küçüktür. Birinci dereceden gecikmeli istihdam değişkeni ile pozitif eğimli Phillips eğrisi ilişkisi de tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, histeresi etkisinin varlığına işaret eden, işsizlik değişkeninin değişim oranına duyarlı, değişim oranı Phillips eğrisi tespit edilirken, bu ilişki 2004 sonrası düşük ve istikrarlı enflasyon dönemi için istihdam değişkeni ile teşhis edilmemiştir.
